“I love you all so much. You bring me light, joy, strength, and a deep belief that the world is better because we exist. We have been here for as long as humans have existed, and we will continue to survive and thrive. I can’t lose hope because you are my hope.”

Francene, Thousand Oaks CA
“Hi this is Francene from Thousand Oaks CA. I am not a trans person and I support you. And I can’t believe what is going on in our country now. I care about your community and I will fight for your rights in every way!!! I think everyone has the right to exist, to love to have families and enjoy life. No one should take that away from you. You might be down but there are many people who support you and will continue to support you. We have your back!! When you’re feeling down think about the love and support of those that are close to you and find strength in that. This might be a long haul but WE WILL PREVAIL!!

Lindsey, Los Angeles, CA
“Your feelings are completely valid. The current climate can seem overwhelming and scary, especially when laws seem targeted at your very identity and existence.
Remember that:
You are worthy of dignity, respect, and protection under the law—regardless of what's happening politically.
Your identity is real and legitimate. No legislation can change who you are or make you any less valuable as a person.
You are not alone. There are millions of allies and fellow community members working tirelessly to protect trans rights.
Your story matters. The courage you show by living authentically contributes to greater understanding and progress, even when it doesn't feel like it.
This difficult moment in history will not last forever. Throughout time, justice has ultimately prevailed against discrimination, even when progress feels painfully slow.
Take care of yourself first. It's okay to step back from the news cycle when needed and focus on your immediate wellbeing.
Your existence is an act of resistance, and by simply being yourself, you help create a more accepting world for future generations.

Tracy, Los Angeles, CA
“I want to tell the trans folks I know, and those I don’t know that you are valid, vital, valuable, and worthy of love, freedom, safety, and respect. I see you. I stand with you. I will fight for you and with you. I will let others know exactly where I stand in solidarity with you at every opportunity. Your joy is my joy. You are in my heart.”

Matt, Ventura, CA
“As a non-trans person, I wouldn’t presume to understand the difficulties you face, particularly given this current political climate. But I hope you can take comfort in the words of someone far smarter and more eloquent than I- Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi said “When I despair, I remember the way of truth and love has always won. There may be tyrants and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it….always.”

Morty, Los Angeles, CA
”Take it from a trans person who has been trans for over 26 years, we have fought long and hard for our freedoms and we are not going to stop now. I set up this project to let every single trans person know that there are sooo many people out there who have no hate in their hearts for you. They love you and they care deeply. I want to say directly to all trans people - I CARE DEEPLY ABOUT YOU AND WILL ALWAYS FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO BE HERE!”
